Recently, Aulong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Aulong) and Fujian Offshore Wind Operation and Maintenance Service Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Fujian Offshore) signed a shipbuilding contract for six 20-meter aluminum wind farm support vessels. This is the largest batch of shipbuilding orders for wind farm support vessels in China over the years. The cooperation with Fujian Offshore, the largest offshore wind power operation and maintenance service provider in China, is significant and essencial to develope Aulong within special functions vessel markets in the future. Lin Jinzhen- director and general manager of Fujian Offshore, Wu Zhanzhong- deputy general manager of Fujian Offshore, Yan Zhiqing- chairman of Aulong, and Wang Guangrong- general manager of Aulong and so forth attended this signing ceremony.
The main hulls and superstructures of vessels are built with aluminium. The vessel’s length overall is 19.99 meters, breadth moulded is 8.4 meters, and depth moulded is 2.8 meters. Its speed is greater than 16 knots and it is a displacement high-speed catamaran with two-engine two-propeller and two-rudder bringing safety, comfort and cost-effectiveness. It will be mainly used for daily operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms in coastal areas of Fujian and Guangdong province.
